Obtaining R for Windows

• Installing R on Windows 98 or later is easy.
• Download the installation program rw****.exe from a site near you:
  • Download R for Windows
  • CRAN (the main R site)

Obtaining R for Mac OS X

• Download R for Mac OS X (Current Version)
• Download Information
• CRAN (the main R site)

Obtaining R for Linux

• If you're running a Debian-based distribution (Ubuntu), simply open a terminal and type sudo apt-get install rkward for a nice R GUI.
• Packages for other distributions can be found here CRAN (the main R site)
