The Group is about decision making - from both theoretical and practical points of view - covering the entire spectrum of human thought and action: from data gathering to tactical and strategic planning.

In a most natural way, the Group originated in spring of 2011 when a bunch of nerds in London, Ontario, set out to tackle a most serious and fascinating real-life problem: economics, decision theory, finance, probability, psychology, social media, sociology, statistics, and many other areas came into the play. The outcome was a great success, and it was decided to continue with the Group, which by now has enlarged, and will further grow as problems we tackle get even more complex.

DTPG welcomes applications for graduate (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) studies of the following topics

Students will be jointly supervised by Drs. Zinovi Krougly and Ricardas Zitikis. The study will be in direct and close coordination with appropriate DTPG industrial partners, who may also offer additional financial support to well performing students throughout their studies and serious jobs afterwards.

Brilliance in mathematics and knowledge of several (preferably object-oriented) programming languages are required. For Topic 2, mastery of C# is a must.

Note 1: Due to the nature of topics and their industrial components, only Canadian permanent-residents and citizens will be considered.
